This is a mentoring program for at risk youth, that pairs youth with adult mentors in order to assist the youth in becoming productive citizens. Mentors meet with youth one on one guiding them in the right direction
The Youth Serve program focuses primarily on youth who are of middle and early high school age. This age group is particularly problematic and a perfect time for mentoring to be effective. At-risk young people have lost faith in the possibilities that await them if they are successful in putting their lives together. Youth Serve is here to restore that hope.

Youth Haven Ministries (YHM) is a grassroots 501(c)(3) that began as a refuge for youth and has grown to become a movement. We DEFY systems and BREAK barriers. We don't empower. We Don't use the buzzwords. We don't compartmentalize. We show up. We help and we serve.

THE CAPITAL CAMPAIGN
We are launching a campaign to bring our successful teen center model from Tampa Bay to Charleston, West Virginia. Our goal is to create a safe and welcoming space for all kids in the community. To make this vision a reality, we need your support through donated space, volunteers, and funding. Together, we can provide a place where every child feels accepted and valued!

THE BROCHURE

Our vision is to be a place where no one falls through the cracks by offering comprehensive, life-changing services.
We are creating a haven where every person is loved, accepted, and valued—a place of rest, hope, and restoration. Through this, we are building a holistic refuge for learning, growth, healing, and recovery, meeting social, emotional, and spiritual needs so individuals can reach their full potential.
This vision is carried out through a comprehensive approach rooted in seven core pillars: Outreach, Prevention, Intervention, Education, Support, Leadership, and Spiritual Guidance. By addressing every stage of a young person’s journey—from immediate, street-level needs to long-term personal and leadership development—we ensure no one is left behind.
Our programs are inclusive, continuously expanding, and designed to deepen impact over time. Everything we do is grounded in compassionate service inspired by the love of Christ.
We are already taking action. Our outreach efforts are active in South Carolina, serving individuals experiencing homelessness, and we are working toward relaunching services in Florida with a focus on education. As a grassroots, community-funded initiative, we are building step-by-step—starting with what is possible today while developing the resources needed to establish the Charleston Teen Center.
Every step forward, no matter how small, is an intentional investment in creating a permanent home where young people can belong, grow, and thrive.

Jesus was a people seeker. He didn’t wait for people to come to Him — He went to them. He sought out the lost, the hurting, and the forgotten. He made Himself approachable, meeting people where they were. That’s what our outreach programs are all about.
WHAT WE ARE, AND ARE NOT
Christianity is a way of life, NOT a Religion. Discipleship is an investment in people, NOT a class. Church is a family of believers NOT a building. The Bible is a guidebook for health, NOT a weapon to attack. Jesus came to Save you NOT to JUDGE you. We are here to serve you, NOT hurt you.
