YHM reaches out to youth, families, displaced, and marginalized people. We provide prevention, intervention, education, support, leadership training, advocacy, and spiritual services while actively engaging with and supporting the communities we serve.
Youth Haven Ministries (YHM) is a grassroots 501(c)(3) that began as a refuge for youth and has grown into a movement serving all ages.
We REACH OUT. We SHOW UP. We HELP. And we SERVE.
We work within existing systems — but we are not afraid to step outside the usual boxes when those systems fall short.
We break down barriers for people left behind by categories, checkboxes, eligibility gaps, deadlines, and other things that divide or exclude.
And we don’t let words like “empower” or “refer” become excuses for inaction when a human being needs help.
We see a need. We see real people hurting. So we attempt to meet that need. It’s that simple.

We are launching a campaign to bring our successful teen center model from Tampa Bay to Charleston, West Virginia. Our goal is to create a safe and welcoming space for all kids in the community. To make this vision a reality, we need your support through donated space, volunteers, and funding. Together, we can provide a place where every child feels accepted and valued!

Nobody will fall through the cracks anymore. A true haven where all kids and their families can be accepted and get any help, they are seeking without barriers. There will be something for everyone--a place for all to fit in.
This vision is carried out through a comprehensive approach rooted in seven core pillars so that no one is left behind.
