This is a mentoring program for at risk youth, that pairs youth with adult mentors in order to assist the youth in becoming productive citizens. Mentors meet with youth one on one guiding them in the right direction
The Youth Serve program focuses primarily on youth who are of middle and early high school age. This age group is particularly problematic and a perfect time for mentoring to be effective. At-risk young people have lost faith in the possibilities that await them if they are successful in putting their lives together. Youth Serve is here to restore that hope.

About
Youth Haven Ministries began in Florida in 2017 with a clear conviction: everyone deserves to be known, supported, and given a real chance — especially those who fall through the cracks of systems and programs. We are now establishing a branch in the Kanawha Valley.
As always, our primary focus, (it's in our name), is youth. But our story will not end there. Just like Jesus we will help all people. Good News should be for everyone, and it should not come with strings attached.
This is grassroots, relational ministry focused on unconditional care and long-term presence. In a region shaped by economic change, family pressures, addiction’s impact, and deep divides between communities, we believe consistent, non-judgmental support can make a lasting difference. We are not here to compete with existing programs, but to serve the young people who often feel overlooked — offering belonging, practical help, and hope through genuine relationships.
We are still in the early stages. Right now our focus is on building authentic connections, listening to local families, and starting small, welcoming gatherings. Our goal is to grow a caring community that stands with the next generation across the entire Kanawha Valley.
If you care about young people in this valley and want to help create safe, supportive spaces for them, we invite you to join us — whether through volunteering, mentoring, prayer, or other forms of support.

Mission
To be a haven of unconditional love and practical help for young people and families across the Kanawha Valley — with no strings attached, no judgment, and no prerequisites.

Vision
We envision a Kanawha Valley where no-one is left without a place to belong, caring adults who show up faithfully, and real hope for their future — regardless of zip code, background, or circumstance.
